About the Event
Virtual seminar on "Inclusive Trade and Gender in a post COVID19 world", addressed to Ecuadorian leading public actors from the following institutions: the Ministry of Production, Foreign Trade, Investments and Fisheries (MPCEIP), the National Council for Gender Equality, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility (MREMH), and the Secretariat for Human Rights.
The seminar was attended by 36 officials including directors, specialists and analysts from the Vice Ministry of Foreign Trade of the MPCEIP, from the departments of trade defense, regulations and trade disputes, market access negotiations, public procurement negotiations and intellectual property, and the departments of Europe and North America. In addition, secretaries and representatives of the Permanent Mission of Ecuador at the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Geneva participated as well as the Assistant State Secretary for the prevention and eradication of violence against women, children, and teenagers of Ecuador.
