Government of Burkina Faso - Capacity building on Gender and Trade

The seminar “Inclusion sociale, genre et commerce dans un monde post COVID-19/ Inclusive Trade and Gender in a post COVID-19 World” was addressed to the Ministry of Women, National Solidarity, Family and Humanitarian Action (MFSNFAH), the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Handicrafts (MCIA), as well as to trade negotiators and officials from agencies dealing with gender equality issues in Burkina Faso. The seminar brought together 22 participants from both the Ministry of Women (Ministère de la promotion de la femme, de la solidarité nationale, de la famille et de l'action humanitaire, MFSNFAH/DGFG) and the Ministry of Trade (Ministère du Commerce, de l'industrie et de l'artisanat MCIA). The latter included participants from the Gender Unit of the Ministry of Trade and the National Unit for the Implementation of the Enhanced Integrated Framework (UNMO-CIR). The four-hour long workshop was conducted in English with simultaneous interpretation in French.
