A preliminary assessment of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on women as workers, producers and traders, and proposal of tools to mainstream social inclusion and gender equality into new trade rules, taking into account precedents in the WTO and bilateral trade agreements, which could strengthen the trade strategy of CARIFORUM Member States in the revision process of current multilateral trade schemes such as the Economic Partnership Agreements with the European Union and with the United Kingdom. 78 participants from all 16 CARIFORUM member states attended.
